I’m Jim (a.k.a. Sombo or Wonkyman) - United States Marine veteran, patriot, designer, and professional wrangler of slightly wonky ideas.

Wonkyman T-Shirts started as a way to combine my love for country, adventure, outdoors, and irreverent creativity - and somewhere along the way, it turned into a full-blown mission.

This isn’t just merch. It’s a mindset - a wonky mindset – emphasis on wonky...

After years in the corporate world as a cybersecurity executive fending off "bad guys" trying to disrupt our way of life, I wanted to create designs that celebrate freedom, service, honor – and the good ol’ U.S. of A. While these are serious things to celebrate, we also like to have some fun.  So don't be surprised if we are not always too serious 😄

Around here, you’ll find lots and lots of flags, veteran and military themes, vintage looks and feels, squadron grit, national and state pride, puppies, and the occasional Bigfoot and his friends.

We walk the line between patriotic and a little bit playful—because let’s be honest, life’s too short for boring t-shirts.
